Valorant Champions has come to an end, EDward Gaming is your new number one team in the world, but the game itself doesn't stop. Riot Games already announced details of patch 9.04 for Valorant. You can read the whole change log on their website, here we will highlight the most important things.

The main highlight of the 9.04 update is, of course, the addition of Vyse. The new Sentinel joins the game with a quite unique ultimate ability: her Steel Garden disables primary weapons, so there will be many pistol duels. Here is the video showcasing her abilities:

Console players will have one more map added to the playlist. Split, the OG map, is added to the unranked playlist.

As for competitive matchmaking, Riot Games changed the rules. Before, each team had one timeout per half. Now, each team got two timeouts per map, and you can take them even in one half. In the overtime, teams will have one additional timeout. Although the change might look like a nothingburger, it provides extra tools for teams to change the course of the game.

There is also a decent portion of bug fixes and a couple of small map changes. Valorant patch 9.04 rolls out today.
