What makes a competitive game great? One of the crucial answers is the tools which allow people to analyze their mistakes. Replays were key features in Counter-Strike since Global Offensive, but it took five long years for Riot Games to understand it.
Riot Games has officially confirmed that Valorant will finally be getting a replay system. The long-requested feature is set to arrive in September 2025, according to Riot’s Anna Donlon, who shared the news on her social media.

Since Valorant’s debut in 2020, fans have been asking for a way to watch past matches — not only to analyze gameplay and improve, but also to help spot cheaters and relive highlight moments. Despite the game receiving regular updates, maps, agents, and new modes, replays have remained absent.
Riot once joked about taking less time than League of Legends, which waited seven years for its own replay system. Now, five years into Valorant’s life, the devs are finally ready to deliver. Donlon teased that more details will come in a June update video, though exact features of the system are still under wraps.
This marks a major quality-of-life upgrade for players of all skill levels — from casual gamers to competitive pros.
