Team Liquid - CS2 Team

Team Liquid is a multi-regional esports organization that was founded in the year 2000, based in the Netherlands. Firstly, Team Liquid was just a clan of Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty. Team Liquid’s CS:GO roster came only after their NA Dota 2 team, in 2015.

When the CS:GO roster of Team Liquid was set, there weren’t many chances for the fans to celebrate the achievments of the department. Only in 2016 the CS:GO roster managed to get to the finals of ESL One Cologne, that’s when the history was made: Liquid were the first North American team that attended a major final in this discipline.

Having a more humble season in 2017, Liquid’s success came back in 2018: the team deservedly placed second at both Esports Championship Series Season 5 finals and ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier, where they fought against Astralis in both tournaments. 2018 was the start of Team Liquid’s offline events success.

Next year, in 2019, they won multiple titles month after month. In fact, 2019 was their most profitable competitive year, as with the start of the pandemic up till our days, the team has found it hard to show similar results as in previous years.
