The Esports World Cup 2026 for Counter‑Strike 2 is an S‑Tier event held offline in Paris from 7–23 August. It features 32 top global teams competing for a total prize of $2,000,000. The tournament is organized by the EWC Foundation and ESL FACEIT Group, making it one of the flagship CS2 events of the year.

Tournament Format

The Group Stage will feature 4 double-elimination GSL-style groups with 8 teams each. The opening matches are best-of-one, and all the following matches are best-of-three with the top four teams of each group advancing to the Playoffs.

The Playoffs will be played under a single-elimination bracket format. All matches except the Grand Final will be best-of-three, and the Grand Final will be best-of-five.
