A Poké Ball is a special sphere resembling a baseball. It is used to catch and carry Pokémon. Despite its small size, there is enough space inside for comfortable rest and recovery.

There are many different types. They differ not only in appearance but also in their properties. These items can be divided into several categories, some of which are listed below:

Category A

This category includes the most common and versatile models. All of them debuted in the first generation of games.

Regular Poké Ball

🔴 Appearance: red top, white bottom.

There is a button in the center to change the size of the sphere. This is the most well-known Poké Ball. Even if you haven't watched the anime, you have likely seen it somewhere. It is suitable for catching Pokémon from level 1 to 10.

Suitable for catching characters with low levels. The greater the level difference in favor of your Pokémon compared to wild creatures, the higher the chance of a successful catch.

Designed for re-catching Pokémon in Amity Square. When used, it guarantees catching all encountered characters.

Created in Johto based on Great Balls for Bug type Pokémon catching competitions.

Mewtwo Ball/Clone Ball

A Poké Ball created to catch characters for the purpose of cloning them. It first appeared in the movie "Pokémon The First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back". The item's purpose: to allow the caught heroes to be cloned for Mewtwo's army.

Dark Ball
