Evgenii "Gufis" Kondratev Fortnite Winterfest is in full swing, and it is a great opportunity to get free cosmetic items. For most of them you don't even need to do anything difficult: the only thing required is your regular login into the game, as you will get one gift for each day online.
How to get free Winterfest items in Fortnite?

When you are in the main menu, go to the tab with the snowflake. There you will be invited to enter the lodge. Do it, and you will be one step closer to the gifts.

In the lodge you will have the options to go to the left pile of gifts or to the right pile of gifts. All presents are different, and in total there are 13 different items. You may pick them in any order you like (except for the Yulejacket outfit which comes last).

There are eight different boxes, each has a different combination of wrap colour and ribbon. From these boxes you can get:
- Snoop’s Holladizzle bass: open big yellow box with green ribbon on the top left
- Yulejacket outfit: top row, green box
- Humbug Slicer pickaxe: middle row, the left yellow box with red ribbon
- Frosted Frets guitar: middle row, purple box, gold ribbon
- Yulejacket’s Blaster wrap: middle row, red box with green ribbon
- Crashed Chiller, Choose Naughty, and Tree Keys sprays: they are in the silver box on the bottom left
- Llama Llightbulb emoji:: blue box, bottom row
- Run It Up jam track: bottom row, red box with vinyl

To the right there are five boxes, but they also have interesting items. By the way, you can still see boxes that you opened earlier. Here is the free items list:
- Peppermint Paraglider glider: open big purple box in the top row
- Yule Bag back bling: top row, white box
- Snow Sparkle contrail: middle row, red box
- That’s Cold Jac! back bling middle row, purple box, silver ribbon
- Dogg Treat pickaxe: bottom row, blue box
Free Winterfest outfits
You may have noticed that no outfits were placed in the thirteen ordinary boxes. However, that doesn't mean you can't have free skin during Fortnite Winterfest. Yulejacket outfit will be up for grabs once you open all other gifts, and it is believed that Santa Dogg is delaying his arrival to the game. The Winterfest will last until January 7, so even if you skip a couple of days, you will still have the chance to get everything.
