How to make a cauldron in Minecraft?

Creating a cauldron isn’t as difficult as it might seem, but it does require some resources. Before you start crafting, you’ll need to check your chests. What’s in there? Just dust and a couple of sticks? Then you’ll have to head into the mines, because we need iron.
You probably already know how to do this — use a stone pickaxe or something stronger. One more important thing — don’t forget your torches! Never go into the mines without torches!

Next, smelt the iron ore into iron ingots. You’ll need 7 ingots for the cauldron. To smelt them, you’ll need a furnace and fuel, whether it’s coal, wood, or something else. I’ve explained this in detail in another guide.

Great! The shiny ingots are still hot, so hurry over to the crafting table. Arrange the ingots in the shape of the letter "U". Fill the three bottom slots, then the two outer slots of the middle row in the grid.

What used cauldron in Minecraft?
A beginner might wonder: "Okay, I’ve got this thing. What do I do with it?" Don’t worry, the guide isn’t over yet.
Let’s start with the basics — collecting and storing water, lava, and snow. It can hold up to three buckets of water. This is handy if you need a compact water storage solution, especially in tight spaces where it’s impossible to create an infinite water source. Of course, the cauldron is often used for dyeing armor, but this only works in the Bedrock version. Unfortunately, you can only dye leather armor, which isn’t the best for protection. However, it’s great for ambiance or role-playing! Just fill the cauldron with water, add the dye, and then use it on the leather armor. Now Steve will look stylish.
If you ever get tired of the armor’s color, the item can help with that too. Simply fill it with water and use it on the dyed armor — the color will wash off, and the leather will return to its neutral color.

In the Bedrock version, this item can be used for filling with potions. Players can fill it with a potion and then draw it out in portions using bottles. This allows you to share potions with friends!
