Where to catch it?

Raid: A few battle tips
Since it belongs to the Flying and Dragon types, we recommend using Ice-type Pokémon with decent CP against it. Of course, you can choose any Pokémon you want for the battle, but always consider the weaknesses and strengths of your fighter. This can make your life much easier and also significantly increase your battle rating, which affects the number of Premier Balls you receive per round. It's better to take care of this in advance and have a chance to catch Rayquaza than to regret it later.
Tactics and Movesets
This Pokémon performs well with moves like Dragon Tail and Dragon Ascent. Of course, there are others, for example, Air Slash is also chosen for its fast attack, but Dragon Tail, according to statistics, performs slightly better, so we recommend choosing it. Among its charge moves, players also use Aerial Ace, Ancient Power, Hurricane, and others, but, as with the fast attack, Dragon Ascent performs slightly better. We recommend always selecting move sets based on the weaknesses of your opponent.
Like some other creatures, its abilities are enhanced during windy weather, so use the weather to boost its modifiers. It performs well against the following types: Bug, Fighting, Fire, Water, Grass, and Ground.
