Netflix has finally revealed the premiere date for the highly anticipated second season of the anime Dandadan. According to the streaming giant, Season 2 will officially debut on July 3. Alongside this announcement, Netflix also released a brand-new trailer offering fans a glimpse of the adventures ahead.

Dandadan follows the story of high school students Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura, who couldn’t be more different. Momo believes in ghosts but is skeptical of aliens, while Ken is convinced of extraterrestrial life but denies the supernatural. When they meet, the two challenge each other’s beliefs by visiting haunted and alien-related spots. They quickly discover that both worlds are real — full of malevolent spirits and visitors from beyond the stars.

The first season ended on a dramatic cliffhanger, and the upcoming episodes promise to pick up right where the story left off. Abel Gongora and Fuga Yamashiro are again leading the project’s direction. On Rotten Tomatoes, Dandadan boasts the highest freshness rating, while on IMDb, the show holds a solid score of at least 7.5.
