Less than a month remains until the animated series Devil May Cry is released on Netflix. In connection with this, the streaming platform has dropped a trailer featuring a unique version of one of the big hits of the 2000s, Last Resort by Papa Roach.

The original Devil May Cry game by Capcom was released in 2001. It tells the story of Dante, a demon hunter. In the anime, sinister forces are trying to open a portal between the worlds of humans and demons, and Dante, who has no idea that the fate of both worlds depends on him, gets caught up in this conflict.

The series is produced by Studio Mir. The producer is Adi Shankar, known for the Castlevania series. Shankar is both the showrunner and executive producer of the project, alongside Hideaki Itsuno, the game director of Devil May Cry 3, 4, and 5.

Additionally, Netflix previously revealed the opening theme of the series, which will feature Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle) by Limp Bizkit, another hit from the 2000s.
