The legendary game CS:GO has left Steam. It is being succeeded by CS2, but this brings some nuances. In the esports world, such abrupt changes create problems for teams. For this very reason, BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2023 will take place in CS:GO, not in CS2.

BLAST is confident that teams will not have enough time to prepare for competitive play in Counter-Strike 2, which was released on September 27. Meanwhile, the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023, set to take place in Copenhagen from November 22 to 26, will be held within the framework of CS2. The company believes that by then, teams will be able to adapt to the new game. Counter-Strike 2 will be the next step in esports, and the shooter needs a sharp spike in interest.

BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2023 will take place online from October 4 to 8 for teams from Europe and America. Eight teams will compete for $67,500. Other prizes include BLAST Premier points and a slot at BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023.
