Developers of CS2 have released a patch for the updated version of the shooter. With this, representatives from Valve addressed many of the game's shortcomings and bugs.

Below is a list of all the changes.

Overpass

Various bug fixes and tweaks.

Gameplay

• Added current armor value to the buy menu;

• Fixed issues with ducking during round transitions;

• Fixed an instance where smoke grenades wouldn't detonate;

• Fixed a scenario where the fire from molotov/incendiary was smaller in corners;

• Fixed a situation where molotov/incendiary grenades would explode at the thrower's feet;

• Corrected a case where the dropped bomb icon appeared incorrectly on the radar;

• Continued iterations on dropped weapon pickup.

Premier Matchmaking

• Reduced "Waiting For Players" time from 5 minutes to 2 minutes;

• Corrected vote to surrender and voting for tactical timeouts;

• Teams can utilize 3 tactical timeouts during regular play and 1 during overtime;

• Various bug fixes and UI element adjustments.

Sound

Resolved an issue where hit feedback sounds weren't audible for spectators.

Misc

• Enabled graffiti change mid-match;

• Enhanced free roaming and chase camera behavior in CSTV;

• Fixed a situation where the money display was cropped in specific languages;

• Corrected a case where "Block names and avatars of strangers" replaced names with incorrectly colored words;

• Resolved an issue where the bomb planting award message didn't display;

• Addressed issues with alt-tab window switching in fullscreen mode;

• Introduced cvars mp_team_timeout_ot_add_once, mp_team_timeout_ot_add_each, mp_team_timeout_ot_max to control timeouts in overtime.

Earlier, the developers fixed bugs related to spawn boxes and weapon behavior. Valve resolved the missing bullet tracers on impact and adjusted post-processing effects during freeze times.
