T1 with the Hall of Legends member Faker are doing miracles once more. The South Korean team won the semifinals against compatriots Gen.G Esports 3:1.

Before the match, Gen.G was the clear favorite in this matchup, as they won ten last matches against T1. Before today, T1 were victorious only in May 2023. However, despite confident performance in the Swiss stage, Gen.G were not invincible, as the quarterfinal against FlyQuest went on to the Silver Scrapes (or Map 5 for those, who don't know the lore of the competitive League of Legends). T1 achieved a comfortable victory, and in the finals it will face Bilibili Gaming, who swept their compatriots Weibo Gaming.

The match will take place in O2 Arena in London on November 3. T1 is a favourite, as Faker historically plays well against Chinese teams. Yet we expect some surprises in the main match of the tournament. We also expect a big opening ceremony with the performance of Linkin Park, the authors of the Worlds 2024 anthem titled "Heavy is the crown".
