Among Us 3D has officially launched on Steam, offering a reimagined experience of the popular social deduction game with a first-person camera. Developed by Schell Games, the release was accompanied by a new trailer highlighting the game’s updated visuals and immersive perspective.

Despite the shift in viewpoint, the core gameplay remains faithful to the original title. Players will once again board a spaceship with 4 to 10 crew members, tasked with completing assignments while trying to identify impostors before it's too late.

The game currently holds a 77% positive rating on Steam, suggesting that fans are welcoming the new approach. According to the game’s description, the familiar tension and deception mechanics are preserved: "Gather 4 to 10 players and dive into the 3D version of this beloved social survival game. Crew members must finish tasks before impostors eliminate everyone aboard."

Among Us originally debuted in 2018 and has since become a global hit, available across mobile devices, PC, consoles, and more. The 3D edition seeks to renew interest in the game by introducing a new layer of immersion without altering its core formula.

Meanwhile, fans still await further updates on the animated series adaptation of Among Us. A teaser was released last summer, but no new information has surfaced since.
