Innersloth has announced the launch of Among Us 3D, scheduled for May 6, expanding the multiplayer deception game into a new dimension. Based on the VR version, this updated release can be enjoyed without virtual reality hardware and will be available on PC through Steam.

The game supports crossplay with various VR platforms, including Steam VR and PlayStation VR2. However, it's not compatible with the standard Among Us version. Pricing is set at $10 in the US, with international pricing pending.

Among the features debuting in this 3D version is a new role called the "infected" in Tag Mode a twist where crew members must avoid physical contact with the contagion. Additional mini-games, time-limited events, and expanded cosmetic options are also planned.

A community wishlist campaign is live: the more Steam wishlists the game receives, the more cosmetics will be distributed after release. These include special hats and even an unannounced visual treat as a bonus for fans who support the campaign early.
