Alawar has released Beholder: Conductor, a fresh spin-off of the acclaimed dystopian Beholder series. The game is currently available exclusively on PC via Steam.

In this narrative-driven adventure with simulation mechanics, players assume the role of the senior conductor aboard the train called the "Supplier of Resolve." As a government employee, the conductor must carry out various duties: inspecting passengers, rationing supplies, enforcing strict regulations, and carrying out tasks issued by the Ministry.

Over time, the conductor builds rapport with superiors, potentially earning promotions and access to sensitive missions involving contraband and corruption. However, each decision has consequences, and poor judgment could lead to serious investigations against the protagonist.

Throughout the journey, the conductor encounters a wide array of passengers. Learning about their lives, players must decide who can continue their journey across the country and who must be ejected at the next station.

Gameplay involves detecting stowaways, reporting suspicious behavior, uncovering hidden items in luggage, and eavesdropping on conversations. The moral dilemmas central to the Beholder franchise remain strong, demanding tough choices at every turn.
