Alawar has unveiled Beholder: Conductor, a new addition to the Beholder franchise, set to launch on PC via Steam on April 23. The developers have also released fresh gameplay footage, showcasing the game’s morally complex decision-making.
As the protagonist, players assume the role of a railway conductor tasked with overseeing passengers, tracking illegal riders, and ensuring order on every journey. The choices made will directly impact who continues traveling and who is removed from the train. “The conductor is always right,” state the developers.
Government directives require conductors to spy on passengers, file reports on suspicious activity, and conduct covert searches. However, those who engage in illicit dealings, such as working with smugglers, risk severe consequences, including becoming a target of the authorities themselves.
Beholder: Conductor will be available exclusively on PC (Steam) with a Russian language option. The game’s demo is currently accessible, and launch-day pricing will be announced soon. A 10% launch discount will be available for early buyers.
