Take-Two Interactive CEO, Strauss Zelnick, dismissed all the potential concerns about scheduling issues of the Grand Theft Auto VI release, which is scheduled for fall 2025. According to Zelnick, the company wouldn't make the timeframe for release narrower if they were not confident enough in their powers.
Zelnick stated that Rockstar Games aims to offer players unique experiences in GTA VI that they have never had before. According to him, the developers are striving for perfection while trying to fix as many bugs as possible before the release.
During an interview, a journalist asked Zelnick what new features Rockstar Games would offer in GTA VI. In response, Zelnick suggested watching the game's announcement trailer, which he believes "broke the internet". He said the trailer clearly shows how and why GTA VI will differ from the previous game.
It is an interesting answer, as it is a typical evasion technique. Considering all these hype around the title, it might be a mistake to reveal anything now — just let the community think and bring out the fantasy. In these year and a half, developers and publishers will have many opportunities to correct these expectations, so no big outrage will happen, unless something terrible happens.
