Rockstar Games has finally released the official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, and while fans were hoping for surprises, it instead confirmed what many had already learned from leaks dating back to 2022. That year, early footage of the game surfaced online, revealing glimpses of its development state. Then in 2024, insider LegacyKillaHD shared a number of details about the upcoming title, many of which now appear to be accurate.

According to LegacyKillaHD, GTA 6 will feature a vast open world that includes not only large cities but also smaller towns and rural areas filled with side activities. While the story is expected to be shorter than that of Red Dead Redemption 2, it will focus more on personal and family conflicts, giving it a grounded, emotional core. However, one of the most intriguing claims was the inclusion of missions inspired by The Fast and the Furious — and the trailer seems to confirm this.

At around the two-minute mark, the trailer shows a high-octane chase scene featuring a car dragging a safe behind it — a direct nod to a memorable moment from Fast Five . This isn't the only detail lining up with previous reports; the release date of 2025 was also confirmed, though some sources still point to 2026.

There’s growing confidence that other predictions from LegacyKillaHD might also turn out to be true. Among them is the idea that Lucia, a character introduced in the trailer, could play a role similar to Michael from GTA V. Rumors suggest the game will include separate sequences featuring both Lucia and Jason, involving corrupt cops, crime bosses, and even the Russian mafia — all pointing to a deeply interconnected and character-driven narrative.
