Many players are already meticulously dissecting the second GTA 6 trailer frame by frame, amazed by the numerous technological advancements Rockstar Games has implemented in the project.
Special attention is drawn to the lighting system. Reflections in windows, on polished surfaces, and in interiors—such as Jason's apartment—demonstrate an advanced version of ray tracing that has clearly made significant strides compared to GTA V.
The official video showcased an abundance of vehicles: from familiar cars and motorcycles to jet skis, dune buggies, boats, planes, and even a blimp. All of these also highlight the lighting and surface reflection technology.
The fluid physics are equally impressive—for example, the behavior of beer in bottles looks surprisingly realistic. In one static shot, you can clearly see gas bubbles inside the bottle.
Improvements also extend to physics and animations: hair, clothing, and even character muscles deform realistically, noticeably surpassing the achievements of Red Dead Redemption 2. Every piece of clothing is a separately modeled object, not just textures stretched over character models.
Additionally, the trailer features rich flora and fauna: various iguanas, birds, and even a raccoon rummaging through trash.
Everything suggests that this will be the most technologically advanced project not only in Rockstar's catalog but in the entire gaming industry as a whole.
