PC Gamer journalists conducted extensive research on the performance of the highly anticipated RPG Dragon's Dogma 2 on various PCs. For testing purposes, 5 computers of different power levels were utilized, equipped with AMD Radeon RX, Intel Arc, and GeForce RTX graphics cards. The entire test took 16 hours.

Configurations of the tested computers:

  • Intel Core i7 9700K, 32GB DDR4-3200 RAM
  • Intel Core i7 14700KF, 32GB DDR5-6400 RAM
  • AMD Ryzen 9 7900, 32GB DDR5-6400 RAM
  • AMD Ryzen 7 8700G, 32GB DDR5-6400 RAM
  • AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM

For the most objective evaluation, the highest graphics settings were used, excluding ray tracing. The reviewer compared the frame rate performance in urban locations and open-world environments. The reviewer claims that the recommended system requirements provided by Capcom should be considered as an absolute minimum. Therefore, gamers are advised to have a processor of the level of an Intel Core 12th generation, AMD Ryzen 5000, or more powerful.
