Fortnite is a popular game among children, and it is unsurprising that their parents might have different concerns. Epic Games provides several useful parental control tools and now two new features are added: Time Limit Controls and Time Reports.

They work both in Fortnite and Unreal Editor for Fortnite. Parents will be able to set specific time windows when their child can play the game. Also, time limit is also an option: thirty minutes before the limit ends, a child will see a notification. They will be able to request more time but the final decision will be made by their parents. The main question, though, is if these Time Limit controls will shut down the game immediately or will wait until the final gaming session ends. Many of us remember when the match was suddenly terminated, and it is not a pleasant feeling.

Another option for parents is to get Time reports. Everything here is simple. Parents will get the information on how much time does their child spend in the game. It is worth noting that both this tools work on several devices combined if the child is using one account. So it would be impossible to stop playing on PC and then jump to console. Overall, these tools will be very useful.
