The long-awaited PC release of Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced Rockstar's next-gen iteration of the iconic open-world game, is now live. This updated version brings significant graphical upgrades alongside new features like full DualSense controller support, offering an enhanced experience for PC gamers.



Among the notable enhancements are ray-traced reflections, revamped vehicle designs, and a host of smaller tweaks that elevate the overall visual fidelity. Popular YouTube channel GameV recently showcased a side-by-side comparison, highlighting how the graphics have evolved from the original release over the past 12 years. The differences are most apparent during rainy nights or in shadowy areas, where advanced global illumination and ray-traced reflections truly shine. However, under sunny conditions, the distinction between the base game and its enhanced counterpart becomes less pronounced.

Despite the impressive debut—drawing over 187,000 concurrent players on Steam, surpassing the recent peak of 184,000 for the standard edition—the reception has been mixed. As of now, the game boasts just 56% positive reviews on Steam, with many users questioning the necessity of this update given the relatively subtle visual improvements. Additional complaints include issues with DualSense functionality and glitches related to transferring characters from the original GTA Online While some players report successful transfers, others continue to face persistent bugs.
