GTA 5 has sold 5 million copies in the last three months, despite being more than a decade old. Since its release in September 2013, GTA 5 remains one of the best-selling games in history.

Red Dead Redemption 2 sales are also on the rise: the game sold 70 million copies, increasing the figures by 3 million copies in the last quarter. Recall, RDR2 was released in October 2018.

GTA Online, GTA 5's multiplayer mode, remains an important part of the success. Take-Two continues to release updates such as Agents of Sabotage in December 2024, which keeps players engaged.

Of future releases, the company has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released in fall 2025. Also, Mafia: The Old Country is expected in the summer and Borderlands 4 is expected later in the year.

You should take a break if you're concerned about Grand Theft Auto VI's possible delays. The most anticipated game in gaming history is still scheduled for release this autumn. In their most recent financial presentation, Take-Two at least made reference to that. In addition, it was confirmed that Borderlands 4 would be released this year, though no precise release dates have been announced as of yet. 

"Rockstar is taking a careful approach to the development process, which may require additional time, as was the case with the company's previous projects—such as GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2," said Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, despite the announcement of a fall release.
