Hollow Knight Silksong has been a long time coming. It would appear that the developers have a sense of humor. The game never came out in 2024, now fans are waiting for a release in the current year. Recently, the developers “rocked the emotional swings” again, as they published a mysterious image.

Team Cherry members started spreading a photo of a single cake. Some particularly enthusiastic people have already built a “slender theory” in their heads that the authors of Hollow Knight Silksong have prepared some ARG (“alternate reality game”).

However, the enthusiasts' brainstorming was soon interrupted - it turned out that Hollow Knight fans had “outdone themselves”. The developer explained that it was not ARG.

Nevertheless, not everyone believes in such “official version” and adhere to the original theory: that Team Cherry team is up to something (allegedly in April this year the full presentation of the game may take place). While the development of Hollow Knight Silksong continues and the release date remains unknown. 

The highly regarded action-adventure video game Hollow Knight was created by Team Cherry. The game follows a small, silent knight as they explore the vast, connected world full of exciting battles, difficult puzzles, and fascinating lore in the ethereal and destroyed underground kingdom of Hallownest.
