On its second day after release, the remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV set another record for the number of simultaneous players — 190,000. It currently holds fourth place on Bethesda's list of most popular games by Steam concurrent players.
Given the upcoming weekend, it seems almost certain these numbers will grow even higher. However, the question remains — can Oblivion surpass Skyrim's record of 287,000 players?
Amid the hype surrounding the updated TES4 version, gamers have once again recalled another game - Fallout 3 Remastered. Both this and TES4 were mentioned in official documents many years ago, so it's no surprise players are now discussing Fallout 3 with renewed enthusiasm. If it happens, the remaster might not only receive graphical upgrades but also reworked mechanics. The most significant change could be the shooting system, which faced heavy criticism back in the day and might be brought up to the level of the fourth game.
