The studio Obsidian Entertainment showcased their RPG Avowed during the Gamescom 2024 exhibition. The developers presented over 30 minutes of gameplay during a live stream.

During that video, the player explored several locations, primarily underground. In one area, the protagonist encounters a swarm of spiders, which he eliminates using a dagger and a series of spells.

At the end of the video, we're witnessing a battle against the boss named Sargamis. Defeating him required the use of numerous spells, some of which reduced the enemy's defenses.

We also saw the game's main menus and interface elements, including the inventory and the hero's ability panel. With character growth, users will acquire new skills and enhance them, such as increasing damage or the effect duration of spells.

The launch of Avowed is scheduled for February 18, 2025, the title will be playable on PC and latest-gen Microsoft gaming consoles.
