Studio Dream Dock has unveiled Dreadmoor, a first-person fishing simulator with elements of cosmic horror. The developers drew inspiration from the acclaimed game Dredge and the bone-chilling works of H.P. Lovecraft.

Dreadmoor transports players to a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by nuclear disaster. As a trawler captain, players will navigate treacherous waters, explore mysterious locations, and battle unfathomable horrors from the deep. The gameplay combines fishing and trading your catch with ship upgrades and scavenging valuable artifacts among the ruins of the Flooded Lands - encouraging players to meticulously examine every environmental detail.

The developers promise over 100 different fish species to catch, including rare specimens that will require specialized bait. Fishing spots range widely in both variety and danger level with greater risks promising more valuable catches.

Dreadmoor is scheduled for PC release, though the exact launch date remains shrouded in mystery.
