Embark Studios, the team behind The Finals, has announced a new large-scale technical playtest for their upcoming PvPvE shooter ARC Raiders. Set to take place between April 30 and May 4, the test will be accessible to players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Interested participants can register via Steam or the gameā€™s official website.

Set in a dystopian future, ARC Raiders blends intense combat against AI-controlled machines with competitive encounters between rival squads, as players gather vital resources to survive. Whether you prefer solo runs or working in squads of up to three, the game caters to a wide range of playstyles.

ThisĀ test will introduce overhauledĀ progression systems,Ā rebalanced weapon dynamics, and improved cross-platform support. Unlike earlier trials, players are free to share footage and screenshots this time.Ā Executive producer Aleksander GrĆøndalĀ emphasized thatĀ feedbackĀ fromĀ theĀ previous test has driven significant design changes.

With ARC Raiders targeting a 2025 release and a $40 price point, this test represents a key moment for the gameā€™s development. The studio aims to validate scalability and gather final feedback from players across all platforms.Ā
