The servers for the shooter Concord were shut down on September 6, and it's now unclear if the game from Sony and Firewalk Studios will ever return. Following this, players decided to check how many people managed to unlock the platinum trophy within the two-week window.

According to the PSNProfiles website, which tracks achievement statistics, only 69 players achieved this. While the number may not be 100% accurate, it highlights how rare the platinum in Concord has become.

Earlier, after Sony announced the imminent shutdown of Concord, players began rushing to complete achievements as quickly as possible before the servers were disabled. Players figured out that this could be done, for instance, in Rivals mode, where participants are given only one life per match. As a result, players started intentionally killing their own characters as quickly as possible, hoping to finish the match faster and earn experience points for a victory. So, the matches in the last hours before the shut down of servers were quite absurd.

Although there are PlayStation games with fewer people earning the platinum trophy, the Concord situation has become unprecedented for the platform. Will the game be back? Right now, it is impossible to tell.
