Gacha game fans continue to track the financial success of different representatives of the genre. Recently, figures for January 2025 have been released.

Last month, Genshin Impact unveiled a major update for Genshin Impact with the archon of pyro - the banner with Mawuika definitely caught a lot of attention. Based on incoming data, the hit miHoYo (HoYoverse) doubled revenues with $99.4 million (vs. $45.6 million in December 2024).

Pokemon TCG ($64 million) came in second place, and the popular “female gacha” Love and Deepspace ($55.2 million) rounded out the top three.

Honkai Star Rail's earnings fell to $50.8 million, while Zenless Zone Zero saw its earnings halved from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.

As usual, the compiled ranking only takes into account revenues from mobile platforms (some games are also represented on PC, such as miHoYo projects). They also clarify the nuance of the calculation: “Since Google Play does not exist in China, the estimates published for Android data in China are determined using a multiplier based on iOS revenue in the country.”
