Fortnite’s going galactic again! Epic Games presented a new Star Wars crossover event, kicking off on May 2. This one’s packed with surprises — including a full Sith version of Jar Jar Binks.

The great thing about Fortnite and other games which are based on crossover ideas is that we might enjoy even crazy, ridiculous ideas which are not considered canon. Yes, Sith Jar Jar is finally happening. He will be able to channel Force Lightning, and it looks like other skins might use this ability too. This event will stay for more than a month.

The schedule of an epic celebration:

  • May 2 – Imperial Takeover mini-event
  • May 8 – The Pull of the Force
  • May 22 – Mandalorian Rising
  • May 29 – Star Destroyer Bombardment
  • June 7 – Death Star Sabotage

Among new entertainment options are the opportunity to pilot the legendary X-Wing, explore iconic locations, and complete a special event pass. An in-game shop will also get fresh content — including a Mace Windu skin.
