Digital Extremes has rolled out the Techrot Encore update for Warframe, expanding on the thrilling Warframe: 1999 storyline while delivering a wave of fresh content, including dazzling skins and innovative weapons.
A newly released gameplay trailer highlights the explosive action, set against a kaleidoscope of colorful, otherworldly landscapes. Among the standout additions is a guitar weapon that channels the spirit of heavy metal, turning every firefight into a symphony of destruction.
In this update, players are drawn deeper into the tangled threads of time travel and heavy metal insanity, meeting the rocker Temples and four new Protoframes decked out in vibrant Gemini Skins. Temples’ guitar, Lizzie, is not just a musical instrument—it’s a weapon capable of summoning walls of fire, unleashing heat waves, and even transforming into a flamethrower. The frame also offers temporary invulnerability and healing powers to bolster teammates during intense skirmishes.\
The update invites players to explore the complex histories of these four characters while completing new objectives, such as defending a live concert. Four additional weapons have been introduced to help players tackle these challenges head-on.
And for those who love a good showdown, Techrot Encore delivers a climactic boss battle against a corrupted band of musicians, blending music and mayhem in true Warframe fashion.
