Polish studio Critical Hit Games shared the first major gameplay video of their game Nobody Wants to Die. It shows fragments of scenes from the beginning of the game.

In the video, you can see the main character sitting in a flying car in front of an open-air cinema in New York. He hallucinates a girl who disappears when he takes medication. Later, the protagonist sets out to investigate the mysterious murder.

The developers demonstrated how players can act at crime scenes. They will be able to search for clues and evidence using a time manipulation device.

The detective adventure is set in New York in the year 2329. According to the plot, people have learned to secure their souls by storing them in memory banks and then transferring them to other bodies. This basically grants them immortality. However, this service is only available through a paid subscription. In these conditions, a mysterious serial killer begins hunting members of the city's upper class. Unfortunately, this Polish game does not feature Keanu Reeves playing a rockstar and a rebel.

The release of Nobody Wants to Die is scheduled for July 17 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
