After various rumors and hints, Activision has finally unveiled the debut trailer for the long-awaited remake:
The development of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is being handled by Iron Galaxy, which has taken over from Vicarious Visions, the studio behind THPS 1+2. The updated version will delight fans with improved graphics, the addition of online multiplayer, and new playable characters, including Rayssa Leal, Nyjah Huston, and Yuto Horigome. The announced trailer showcases familiar locations such as Airport, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, all reimagined with modern technology. The trailer also features a side-by-side comparison of the graphics between the old and new versions of the game.
Legendary skaters like Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, and Rodney Mullen will be featured in the game. However, it seems Bam Margera will not be included. Owners of the Digital Deluxe edition will receive exclusive characters—Doom Slayer and Revenant. Additionally, the developers have promised to bring back part of the original soundtrack, including tracks from Motorhead, Gang Starr, and CKY, adding to the game's nostalgic atmosphere.
The remasters of these iconic games will be available on July 11 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series, and PC. Those who pre-order will get access to a demo version in June, as well as early access to the full game three days before the official release.
