EA has announced new paid expansions for The Sims 4, set to release on May 30, 2024. These are the Riviera Retreat and Cozy Bistro Kits, each drawing inspiration from French architecture and small, cozy eateries respectively. The developers have promised these DLCs will bring a fresh flair to the game.
The Riviera Retreat expansion allows players to create a secluded resort oasis for their Sims, inspired by vintage romances and TV dramas. It features an abundance of pools, ponds, and fountains that blend seamlessly with nature, even within urban environments. Elegant gazebos with smooth contours and muted colors offer perfect spots for strolls. New loungers, exterior designs, and archways await those who love spending hours enhancing their backyard builds.
The Cozy Bistro Kits give players the chance to set up their own comfortable bistro for friendly gatherings or romantic dates. Like the first kit, its design is influenced by a retro, vintage style. Little can be discerned from the DLC's screenshots, suggesting the developers might be keeping some elements a surprise for players.
Both kits will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.
