In order to determine their expenditures, Forbes has once again dug into Disney's wallet. When they last did this, they discovered that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania had a $388 million budget. All of this was revealed because, in the UK, in order to lawfully collect 25.5% of manufacturing costs, financial reporting must be as clear as possible.

Hollywood firms must establish a subsidiary in England to carry out production in the foggy Albion and other nearby regions in order to make it all work. You can only obtain the advantages you desire in this manner.

Disney spent a staggering $354 million on the first season of Andor, while the second season has already cost $290.9 million (of the $645 million, England then covered $129 million). According to Forbes, this number is erroneous because the financial statements span the months of October 2018 through November 2023. Remember how last year's industrial action, which ended in November, forced the suspension of the second season's filming?

This year, they only started up again in January and finished in February. Additionally, post-production is still ongoing, which will somewhat increase the amount. Disney spent $280.7 million on the same "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" film.

Andor is currently one of the few Star Wars series to receive accolades from both demanding audiences and voracious critics on Rotten Tomatoes, surpassing even The Mandalorian. On April 22, 2025, the second season of Andor will debut.
