Jyamma Games has announced the indefinite delay of the action-RPG Enotria: The Last Song for Xbox Series X|S. The developers stated that they encountered issues leading to the postponement.

The creators of Enotria decided to quickly clarify the reason for the delay, as speculation began circulating online. Some users believed the problem arose due to optimization for the Xbox Series S, while others speculated about an exclusive contract with PlayStation. However, Jyamma Games emphasized that the issue was simply a lack of communication with Microsoft.

This isn't the first such case recently. In mid-August, the developers of the metroidvania HAAK canceled the game's release on Xbox. They reported being unable to register on Microsoft's website due to numerous errors, and the company did not assist in resolving the issue.

Enotria: The Last Song will still be released on PC and PS5 on the previously announced date — September 19, 2024. A few months later, the studio will also release a physical edition for Sony consoles.

Enotria: The Last Song is a soulslike game based on Italian legends. The game's story takes place in a world gripped by a mad eternal play, holding all its inhabitants in unnatural stasis. The main character is the only being free from an imposed role, capable of defeating the powerful Authors.
