The co-creator and showrunner of the animated series Arcane, Christian Linke, hinted that not all characters will survive until the end of the second season.

In a recent interview, he was asked about the possibility of tragic fates for the main characters — potentially facing a "Game of Thrones" scenario where key characters might be killed off.

Linke admitted that there is a possibility of this, though he refrained from providing specific story details — likely to avoid spoilers. However, he confirmed that the theme of death will indeed be present in the new episodes.

This statement may not come as a huge surprise to fans, as the League of Legends universe saw the creators send several characters to their deaths in the first season. Additionally, Jinx’s actions in the first season’s finale have likely resulted in new casualties among characters familiar to viewers.

The second and final season of Arcane begins on November 9, with subsequent episodes releasing on November 16 and 23. The story will directly continue the events of the previous series, where tensions between the residents of Piltover and Zaun have escalated into a full-blown conflict.
