Legendary Japanese game designer Hideaki Itsuno announced on his Twitter that he is leaving Capcom after more than 30 years of working in one of the most respected companies in the industry. Maestro thanked everyone for the support and also encouraged fans to continue supporting Capcom's projects.

Itsuno began his career at Capcom in the early 1990s, contributing to the creation of well-known games such as Rival Schools and Power Stone. However, most of the fans know him because of Devil May Cry and Dragon's Dogma — projects that defined high-quality action and role-playing games for an entire generation of gamers.

Now, as of September 1st, Itsuno is starting a new chapter in his career by joining another, as yet unnamed, studio. This decision undoubtedly leaves fans both anxious and excited, as his departure means that future installments of DMC and Dragon's Dogma will no longer be crafted under his careful guidance.

Fans of both franchises are left wondering how future games will evolve without the vision and expertise that Itsuno brought to every project he worked on. His departure undeniably marks the end of an era for both Capcom and the gaming industry as a whole.
