Aside from the esports league for the F1 racing simulator, the queen of motorsports and computer sports do not have much in common. One of the links between them is Red Bull, a brand that actively engages in both fields: it sponsors many players and teams in esports and has two teams in Formula 1.

One of its drivers, Yuki Tsunoda, will compete in the Belgian Grand Prix wearing a special helmet featuring the VALORANT logo and one of its most recognizable characters, Jett.

In Belgium, Tsunoda will attract increased attention as he is considered a candidate for a seat in the championship-winning Red Bull team, ensuring ample airtime. Riot Games is attempting to reach a new audience, and it will be interesting to see the outcome if the company decides to report on it.

Brands from pop culture rarely visit Formula 1, although this weekend VALORANT is not the only one that has such a promotion. The livery of Alpine F1 team is red-and-black to promote the "Deadpool & Wolverine" movie.
