The new Radeon RX 9000 graphics cards on RDNA 4 architecture will be released in March, according to Network X Vice President of Ryzen CPU and Radeon graphics David McAfee. The RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 are among the first models to be released.

In order to meet the deadline, the company initially intended to release the graphics cards in the first quarter of 2025. The most recent rumors, however, indicated an earlier launch date of late January. Retailers and analysts now have higher expectations as a result.

Before the official release, some people claimed to have received the first shipments. AMD stated that the release schedule stayed the same and declined to confirm the rumors. Following the recent announcement of NVIDIA's RTX 50 series, the company most likely modified its product positioning strategy to offer competitive pricing.

AMD also refuted some reports regarding the new graphics cards' performance, implying that it might surpass initial projections.

“The Radeon 9000 series hardware and software look great, and we plan to introduce a wide range of graphics cards worldwide. We can't wait for gamers to try them out after they go on sale in March!”
