Employees of Rockstar Games have not heard anything about a possible delay of Grand Theft Auto VI. This was reported by Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, who spoke with six workers from the company.

Schreier reached out to Rockstar employees after a rumor about GTA VI being delayed until 2026 surfaced online on September 8. The rumor was spread by a blogger from the GTABase website, known as Liam, who claimed to have reliable information that Schreier would soon confirm.

The Bloomberg journalist noted that GTA VI is a big and ambitious game, and its release date could be subject to delays. However, as of now, Rockstar employees haven't heard anything about this.

The release of GTA VI is still scheduled for fall 2025, as previously announced twice by Rockstar Games. During one of Take-Two Interactive's financial reports, CEO Strauss Zelnick expressed that the company is very confident in the announced release date for GTA VI.

Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version has not yet been officially announced, so its release date remains unknown.
