Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 became a game changer for Saber Interactive. Its overwhelming success is reflected not only in approval from popular figures like Henry Cavill but also in massive sales. The game's results exceeded expectations to such an extent that the studio has shifted its plans and is now working hard on DLC and already considering a sequel. In an interview, the Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits shared his feelings about the unusual situation he and his studio became a part of.

The high sales of Space Marine 2 will allow the studio to take on more complex projects and potential blockbusters. Additionally, the strong interest from gamers has secured a promising future for the series: Saber has already started on narrative DLC, and they plan to expand the roadmap with new content. Willits expressed excitement about a potential Space Marine 3, though the company will first focus on supporting the second game. In the studio's near-term plans are new multiplayer classes, as well as new enemies and weapons.
