Amazon has released the debut teaser for the second season of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" live-action series. Sauron is back, and he is plotting to dominate all of the Middle-earth.

Among other things, the teaser features Sauron himself played by Charlie Vickers, as well as Galadriel portrayed by Morfydd Clark. At the beginning of the video, the voiceover of Durin IV warns us about the return of the big and strong evil.

The main roles in "The Rings of Power" are played by Morfydd Clark, Mike Váez, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Charlie Vickers, Markella Kavenagh, and Megan Richards.

The second season of "The Rings of Power" is set to drop its first episode on August 29. The streaming service has not yet published the show's release schedule. There are no universal rules: while Fallout TV series was dropped at once, the first season of the series in the universe created by J.R.R. Tolkien, premiered with two episodes and then released one episode weekly.

The first season of the series aired in 2022. It received an 83% "fresh" rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and a 38% audience score.
