Riot Games has launched in-game charity campaigns in the conditionally free-to-play shooter VALORANT and MOBA game League of Legends on PC to raise money to help victims of fires and other natural disasters. The developers intend to donate the proceeds to Riot Games' Social Impact Fund, which will then donate the funds to organizations helping with disaster relief efforts in Southern California and other parts of the world.
At VALORANT, the EX.O collection will become the ‘Return’ set and will be available in the catalog with special offers through January 30.
In League of Legends, players are offered to buy the Firefighter Tristana skin. The promotion will run until February 5, 2025.
