Persona 5 was a hit, and it seemed like everyone loved it. So it was unsurprising to see new content in the form of different spin-off games. Back in May, SEGA and Atlus stated that the free-to-play Persona 5: The Phantom X has all the chances to be launched not only in several Asian countries but also in Japan — and eventually worldwide. While we don't have any confirmations, it looks like the announcement will be made very soon.

Atlus has revealed plans to hold a presentation for the Japanese version of The Phantom X next Wednesday. Alongside this, we now know of an official game account on social media. Players are speculating that the studio will also announce a global version of the project at that time. Additionally, this Persona 5 spin-off will be showcased at Tokyo Game Show 2024.

The Phantom X is a mobile spin-off of the series, which was launched this spring in China, followed by South Korea and Taiwan. It supports iOS, Android, and has a stand-alone official PC client.
