How to Unlock a Hideout in Path of Exile 2
Unfortunately, the path to obtaining this valuable space is long and challenging. But don’t worry — below, you will find a list of requirements you need to fulfill:
- Complete the Act III twice — on Normal and Hard difficulty level;
- Unlock the Atlas of Worlds after defeating the final boss of Act III and speaking with the NPC Doryani;
- Find a map with the Hideout symbol in the Atlas of Worlds. This usually doesn’t take too long;
- Defeat all the monsters in the area.

To visit your personal base, use the waypoint menu and select the Fleur-de-lis symbol on the right side of the screen. There is also another, more original way to travel: type the command
/hideout
in the game chat.
What Types of Hideouts Exist?
After unlocking your first Hideout, the you gains access to only one type of personal base. To unlock another hideouts, you will need to explore the Atlas of Worlds again and search for new maps with Hideouts. Eventually, once you collect them all, you will have four options to choose from:
- Felled;
- Limestone;
- Shrine;
- Canal.
To switch to a new type, speak with the NPC Alva. Then you will need to select the appropriate menu option.
Hideout Customization

You can place objects and NPCs as you like, rotate and move all things, add new items and decorations, replace old ones.
