Levels in Fortnite unlock access to unique rewards, events, and advanced modes. They are important for newcomers who want to acclimate quickly and for experienced players striving to get the most out of each season. The game features different types, each with its own characteristics. Letās explore how they differ and how to lvl them up.
What types of levels exist and how they differ?
In Fortnite, there are two types of lvlās: Battle Pass and account. The former updates with each new season, while the latter is retained permanently.
Battle Pass level
This is also called the seasonal lvl because it is tied to a specific season. Each time developers release a new Battle Pass with rewards. The higher your level, the more rewards you can earn.
Free lvlās are only available up to 100. Owners of the premium Battle Pass can receive rewards up to 200. The maximum level in Fortnite is not limited ā after 200, you can continue to level up for statistics, but without new rewards.
When a season ends, the Battle Pass resets. For example, if you reached lel 108 at the end of Season 3 of Chapter 5, youāll start again at 1 with the beginning of Season 4 of Chapter 5.
You can check your current Battle Pass level in the lobby ā it is displayed on the left side of the screen. Rewards for lvlās can be seen in the "Battle Pass" section.
Account level in Fortnite
This reflects the overall progress of your account. It does not reset after a season and retains all the levels you have earned throughout your time playing. For example, if you started playing in Chapter 4, Season 4, and reached lvl 30, and then in Season 5 reached 80, profileās total would be 110.
The lvl in Fortnite plays an important role as it is required to unlock access to competitive modes. A high account level does not provide in-game advantages ā it is simply an indicator of your experience and time spent in the game.
To find out your account level, go to the "Career" section in the lobby and look at the top right corner of the screen.
How to increase an account levelĀ
In battle royale, account levels increase by accumulating experience, which is easily earned through various in-game actions. Earning one lvl requires 80,000 XP.
Earn experience in matches
By participating in Fortnite matches, you earn experience through various actions:
š¹ Time in the game: the longer you stay in a match, the more experience you earn, especially for surviving until the final stages.
š¹ EliminatingĀ opponents: defeating enemies grants XP, encouraging more active gameplay.
š¹ ExploringĀ theĀ map: opening chests, using medkits, and visiting new locations also grant experience.
Complete daily and weekly quests
Quests in Fortnite are one of the fastest ways to level up, as they provide a lot of experience.
š Daily Quests: Each grants 1,000 XP. They update daily at 14:00 GMT and can be completed quickly. Quests may include restoring shields, upgrading weapons, or visiting specific locations. It is especially beneficial to complete the first three tasks of the day, as they offer additional points.
š Weekly Quests: Each can give up to 20,000 XP. New quests are added on Tuesdays. They range from simple tasks, like collecting ammunition, to more complex ones, such as finding hidden items on the map. These quests are available all week, so you can complete them at your convenience.
Complete Milestone stages
Each season includes dozens of simple tasks known as Milestones. Completing each milestone grants 5,000 XP, which helps level up faster. The tasks are varied: from combat and map exploration to completing various challenges.
Play other modes
This game offers several game modes, each allowing you to earn experience and diversify your gameplay:
šø Save the World: a cooperative PvE mode where players fight against hordes of enemies and build fortifications. Each match grants 30,000 XP.
šø LEGO Fortnite: this mode combines LEGO elements with the classic battle royale gameplay. It awards 30,000 XP every 15 minutes, but only for 2.5 hours per day.
šø Fortnite Festival: a musical mode offering rhythm challenges and concerts. It grants 4,000 XP every 10 minutes, up to 80,000 XP per day.
šø Creative Mode: allows participation in mini-games and completing quests. You can earn up to 12,000 XP every 15 minutes, but no more than 60,000 XP per day.
Each mode has its own unique quests, completing which provides additional experience.
With active play, you can earn between 80,000 to 150,000 XP per day, which amounts to approximately 1ā2 levels. By dedicating more time or utilizing all available methods, you can achieve even higher results ā it all depends on your playstyle and dedication.
