Valve has released a major update for Counter-Strike 2, making changes to two maps from the competitive pool and adding a huge number of new skins.

Letā€™s start with Inferno and Train. The developers have decided to simplify the maps, not in terms of game balance, but by reducing the number of distractionsā€”essentially performing a "clean-up." While the changes are cosmetic, they shouldnā€™t have a tactical impact on players.

Now, let's move on to the most expensive aspect of the gameā€”skins. First off, Valve has added a new Train 2025 collection and a Fever Case in Armory. Additionally, a limited edition XM1014 | Solitude shotgun has been added to the collection. This shotgun features a wide variety of patterns, and Valve is hoping to attract players by showcasing this. Skins from the Armory collections can be obtained by purchasing the special Armory Pass.

However, the free drop system has also been updated. Four old collections have been removed, replaced by three new ones: Ascent, Boreal, and Radiant. These skins are not particularly flashy, but thereā€™s one new addition that is bound to catch the community's attention: the AWP Printstreamā€”the legendary skin line has expanded with another member.

Unfortunately, for some, there are no new maps or mods just yet.
